Pittsburgh Police officers were injured over the weekend after a police pursuit with a wanted individual.
According to the criminal complaint filed against Jaquan Steadman, 24 &, Jamar Miles 21, it outlines the alleged incident.
Jaquan Steadman, 24 wanted for possible involvement of a shooting incident that happened on Penn avenue. According to the criminal complaint Jaquan Steadman, was seen in a car by Pittsburgh police in Homewood.
Police then tried to stop the vehicle Jaquan Steadman was in however the vehicle continued to drive off fleeing police.
After almost colliding with a PRT Bus and at high speeds the vehicle came to a stop at the 7900 block of Susquehanna Street. Police took Steadman into custody the passenger Jamar Miles continued to flee on foot where police used K9 to detained the suspect a weapon was found in his wasteland.
Jamar Miles was bitten by K9 and two officers suffered injuries from the foot Pursuit and taken to a local hospital.
Drugs, US currency and firearms were recovered upon arrests. Both were placed at the Allegheny County Jail.
